Remeha Quinta Ace Fault Code E.00.04

Fault Code E.00.04 or TReturn Open.

If this fault code is showing on your Remeha Quinta Ace boiler there is something wrong with the sensor that measures the return heating water coming back to the boiler. It is either measuring a temperature that is too low or it is not measuring anything at all.

The first thing to check is whether the return sensor is fitted in the right place and that it’s secure. The return sensor looks like a small clip attached to the return LTHW pipework with a small wire coming off it and going back to the boiler. It may be hidden in the insulation so might not be immediately obvious.

If the sensor is fitted correctly check the wire going back to the boiler for any damage as this could be causing the fault. Also, check the clip in the circuit board to make sure the connection is secure.

If the wire back to the boiler is all fine then it could just be a faulty sensor and will need to be replaced to get the boiler working again.
